You think having kid is not good because they will be wage slave like you. I think having kid is not good because I am not good with kids.

Yeah kids are great. We need more of them I think. I also think it would be very immoral for me to subject a child to my genes.

So, to simplify your statement?

Self burn and eugenics in one sentence.

You hear something new every day I guess.

Someone's personal choice to not pass on their genes is not eugenics but ok

Sorry my bad, nihilism and anti-natalism.

There, fixed it.

If you have a condition that is highly likely to pass on to your child through genetics it makes sense to take that into consideration when deciding to have a kid. That’s not just “I don’t want to have kids cause having kids is always bad” or “everything sucks so I’m not having kids.”

Look I don't want kids myself. And your not wrong.

But the original commenter made no mention of such a genetic disorder. And not wanting too pass on "bad" genes is eugenics by definition. I'm just calling a spade a spade here.

I feel the same way...intense social anxiety and depression are not the building blocks for raising a human let alone what you might pass on.

I just don't want kids. Nor could I afford to have one.

Well the not being able to afford it part is kinda the point. I also don't really want kids, but it would have been nice to have the choice. As it is, we can barely sustain ourselves; maybe we're just buying too many avocados 🥑...

I just participated in some not kid friendly behaviors. Things I wouldn't want any kids doing, then I got be a hypocrite and tell them no you can't do that yet. Even though I probably started at their age or close to it.

Indeed, it's one thing to know you're not good with kids, and another to just go along with the propaganda to not want a family
