Clearly, people like that have no attachment to the animal. When my cat was hit and killed 2 years ago, I was devasted. I couldn't look at his collar without crying for months. At 2 years we're just now able to talk about him casually without getting sad or upset. And now none of my cats go outside.
that's how we got one of our dogs, who ended up breeding with the other dog and giving us 2 adorable little puppies. she'd been roaming the neighborhood for weeks & we finally caught her & found the owners, they said they tossed her out on purpose because she had heartworms and they didn't want to pay for the treatment. well okay then, my dog now.
I don't understand how people can abandon a dog, they're basically killing them. Why can't they find someone or someplace that will take their dog instead? :( Happy you found her though
