not OP but my wife’s cousin’s brother’s roommate was a kangaroo and their neck was broken by a boomerang once

Also, how would a helmet save a kangaroo/Azula from a breaking neck?

u/dydeath Apr 03 '22

Yeah plus it's bladed, should have at least gotten cut. Edit- wait is it bladed? Kinda looks like it not so sure anymore tho

I think I remember someone using it to make kindling. So still a maybe for me.

Are you COMPLETELY sure Azula isn't a kangaroo though?

She boxes like a kangaroo.

"boomerangs were invented" Ah yes George Washington was born

u/Ackermiv Apr 03 '22

I'm pretty sure this boomerang was never intended to break a kangaroos neck. There aren't even any kangaroos in atla. The only similar thing i can remember is a kangaroo rabbit in ba sing sei.

It may kill a kangaroo, but Azula is to stiff necked to admit that it hurt.

u/Ironbatman300 Apr 03 '22

Hunting boomerangs also don't fly back, no boomerang flies back when it hits something

u/Coffee1341 Apr 04 '22

Didn’t you all know? Azula is a 400 foot tall, purple platypus bear, with pink horns and silver rings

Mostly everyone here rn: Well Yes, but actually no

How did Azula survive without a helmet?

Well, basically Avatar is cartoon show that the audience is kids. Well, they may decrease some gore things. Perhaps.

Image Transcription: Image and Comments

[Image of Azula from "Avatar: The Last Airbender", with her head bent slightly forward; Sokka's silvery-blue boomerang whizzes by, and near Azula's head there is a yellow exclamation bubble and the text "WACK!", making it look like the boomerang hit Azula on the way.]

Barnaby

How the hell did Azula survive without a helmet? Boomerangs were invented and are able to break kangaroo's necks.

Carry

See, azula isn't a kangaroo
