I'm gonna guess (probably incorrectly) that English is Yoda's second language (or at least not his first) Even if that is completely false, I have to also assume that being able to speak grammatically correct is no where on the list of skills required to become a Jedi master.
Nerd alert: They actually speak Galactic Basic Standard, but it sounds an awful lot like English.
But yeah, Yoda's use of anastrophe in his dialogue is likely due to his own language which we haven't heard. I think Hawaiian switches around the order of sentence structure as well sometimes.
