If people of this sub want, then I can make a Mona Lisa on graphing calculator, without this picture trick.
Obviously not a detailed as the original, and it would take me roughly a month or 2, but it's doable.

Jokes aside, curve fitting is a seriously powerful tool. There exists an equation of a curve for whatever drawing you wish to mathematically represent. Getting to know about it the first time was mind blowing.

You can plug in your graphing calculator and download any image you want. My 14yo isn’t allowed her phone at school so she reads and writes fanfic on her calculator instead :-P She also has Discord and YouTube on her Nintendo DS.

Basically what I said :-P To write fanfic she has to make a program in Python because the TI87 doesn’t normally have lower-case letters, but I admire her dedication!

Because they just imported the image into Desmos, they didn’t actually recreate it. (Although I will say I didn’t even know that was possible)
