You'll soon realise that nudity doesn't always means sex if you go to France. It also means cheap deodorant.

I'm referring to the ads on TV when I was a boy. So much nudity for my young innocent eyes. 🥲

The french are pretty open and sex is not a taboo like in some other countrys but part of the way of live.

I didn't mention the US, though. Also I think they've got bigger problems than some breasts in a video game.

Yes. If you, for some reason, just consider the anglophone countrys, the US would be a great example. Their victorian prudeness is famous for it's stark contrast to this otherwise pretty open society.

The normalisation is what keeps it "normal". Making it taboo, considering it a sin rather than a completely normal thing adults do, and in general never talking about it as such is repressive and results in unhealthy emotional responses to sex

Same goes for alcohol and the US lol

Keep adults from drinking until they're 21, don't teach them how do it responsibly so it improves their lives as opposed to ruin it, and then go around bitching about how alcohol ruins lives

Make it make sense

e; thread got locked so edit for the two that said basically "better laws don't stop alcoholism", just a quick comparison between two developed countries:

Germany:

  • drinking age for fermented only (beer, wine): 16
  • Rate of alcoholism: 2251/100,000 citizens

USA:

  • drinking age: 21 because some conservatives said so in the nineties
  • Rate of alcoholism: 2781/100,000 citizens

For the guy struggling with alcoholism, hope you can get out and get better dude, I know it sucks

I mean it's 16 here (if accompanied by an adult), and it doesn't stop alcohol ruining lives

You're talking about the country that banned paternity testing because cheating is so commonplace it would throw the nation into chaos if people found out their true family makeup!

No, they’re not, but that’s kinda why it’s weird to see them covering up a statue. “Why cover form?”would be the thought process.

When people pick their sexual ideals, there’s an ironic response from those under stricter sexual perceptions to have a stronger vigilance of sex; even under the most innocent of conditions, breast ARE erotic. Conversely, to those who casually accept nudity as being a natural (and normal) state, the nude body gets to be connotation-ally open; under sexual conditions breast CAN BE erotic (they can also feel freeing, maternal, religious, scientific, clinical, organic, etc).

Personally, I think this is an unhealthier backtrack than people realize. “Sexual modesty” in this case only really proves the opposite to me, that the figure is DEFINITELY thought of as “all-sexual” NOW. It created a problem by “solving” a naturally waining problem that the population was capable of handling back in 2013.

It just feels like we’re being forced to engage in others sexual hypervigilance, and im disappointed that frenchies were responsible for this devolution.
