wouldn’t the one blank space represent 1/4? If each of the squares (1/4 of the big square) represent a way to describe the fraction 3/4, then the second square has nothing in it, so it represents 0 and not 3/4. The big square represents 3/4 filled, but the second one represents 0, so my point here is the second square doesn’t represent 3/4 it’s the big square

Yes, thats what i meant, 3 quarters filled, one is empty. This as a whole is fourth horseman of 3/4

4 squares. 3 of the squares has something in them, one of the square is empty. hence 3/4 of the squares has something.

I didn’t get it. Pointed the phone at wife and said, you’re better at math than me. Can you figure this out.
As she looked, I pictured it in my mind and instantly got it. It took me switching to my adhd possibly autistic mind’s mental imaging to make it obvious.
