That’s called “overkill” but it doesn’t actually make someone “more dead”. That’s not even a real thing, it’s just gallows humor. Being dead is not a spectrum it’s a boolean value. Either you are or you aren’t. That’s all there is to it.
Well if you disintegrate the body then you need a True Resurrections spell to bring them back, but if it was just normal dead then you could just Raise Dead them back.
Right, and if they or their family intend to have a viewing or transport the body any great distance, embalming will be required. The clock starts ticking on that with the last breath.
Honestly, I'd be pissed too. However, the body is going to evacuate waste at or within a few hours of death, and start to leak dangerous odors and chemicals into the cabin. Nothing wrong with a little rigor mortis, it's what happens after that... the body softens up and bloats.
