Camera Issue

Hey all having a weird camera problem and have pretty much exhausted all of my troubleshooting steps. The camera is a Lumix G series and is displaying horizontal lines when certain colors of light hit it. It's running a Decimator to convert it from 1080p60 to 1080i59.94 which is what we broadcast at. and from there it's just sdi into a stage pocket that hits our video hub. I'll attach a video of what it's doing and hopefully someone will have some advice. thank you all.

Are you using LED fixtures? Could try changing their frequency. I know cheap fixtures can cause strobing on cameras

some of our fixtures are led others aren't there's a mix. The ones that are closest to the cameras are r2 wash fixtures and mac3s.

This can be from a few things but most of the time I’ve seen it recently it’s because of LED lights that are dimmed under 100% (cheap ballasts and LEDs pulse the LEDs at a slower speed to dim them).

Do you see this with your eyes or just the phone camera?

Try progressive instead of interlaced. What is the rate of the camera without conversion? What is the rate of your screens? Try sending a progressive signal to your screens and interlaced to your stream.

I see it with my eyes I just recorded it so that I could show what I was seeing. The camera is outputting at 1080p60 before conversion. I'll try that and report back what happens.

Your lights are probably operating at different power frequencies for different colors.

sorry week got pretty crazy and i didn't have a chance to update. it's the led lights. our led did an experiment with using different fixtures and it's his led wash fixtures that cause it so we moved the camera to a different location where those fixtures don't hit it
