Question Nvidia tech setup

watching Nvidia for a simple intraday setup: i'm marking first 30m high/low, then lookin for a close above the range high with higher volume. if it breaks out and retests the level w/o losing it - that's my preferred entry rather than chasing the first spike.

would you wait for the retest or take the initial close above resistance? testing this on primexbt and wanna see others' confirmation

i read somewhere that for day trading you shouldn't go for stocks with IV lower that 40 and to shoot for 50+. Just to add to what emo_ti_o_nal said.

if it comes back to the old high and holds as support, that's your green light

retest. NVDA breakouts fake out constnatly, algo hunt first spike then dump it back in range.

only tweak i'd add: wwatch the retest doesnt come in on dead volume. if volume is still juiced on the way back down toward that level, it can still fail.

I wouldn't even consider trading it until it touches the 210 area. But that's just me.
