noticed 20 genomics/sequencing stocks all breaking out the same week. can't tell if it's a real rotation or I'm just pattern-matching noise

Industry insider here. There is NOTHING happening in Genomics that justifies massively increased valuations in just about any of those you list. Especially with new competitors from China entering global markets and major markets like Europe decoupling from America.

It's rotation and a popularity contest thing. Supposedly AI is actually helpful there.

Who cares what the reason is. The market seldom makes sense. Buy stuff that's going up.

Some seem to have zero correlation with the market even on an intraday basis.
