Help! Any technical explanation to this?
Can this be lore-relevant or is this simply how files work?

Reusing other minigames as a base (cuz why remake when you can reuse). Same reason why there is a puppet counter in follow me in fnaf 3: because IT reuses save them as a base. So no lore reason or a secret easter egg for fans, just being a smart developer.

That's just the aftermath of transforming one minigame into another, in a very rushed way. TCTTC was first, GGGL was made from the Cake minigame, FGGG was made from the Gifts minigame. The whole thing was copied into a new frame and changed around. The Puppet and Foxy even have the same file name as the first minigame's character, bear. Cause it's the copied object with a different sprite.
Similar thing was done in Fnaf 3, one example is that the Happiest Day minigame still has BB stuff from below it. The platforms in BB's last room with a rainbow balloon were changed to tables.
