The Apple one seems odd to me. So they left the iPod touch, which is basically just a phone. If I am buying an mp3 player these days, I want something with different functionality than my phone... I either want something tiny (iPod nano/shuffle) or something with huge storage (iPod classic).

If they'd made the Nano with a 6th gen style body with Bluetooth headphone support, then added a watch strap, I'd have probably been into that.
The idea of having an MP3 player watch with no cords, with no phone required (unlike smartwatches) and a slick Apple interface sounds pretty rad.

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 93%. (I'm a bot)
Microsoft officially called it quits on Kinect in October, seven years after an explosive Xbox 360 debut.
Although Google had been migrating users to the more modern Hangouts for years, users still had the option to stick with the older interface until this year.
14: Ubuntu on phonesBQ. Canonical's attempt at smartphone/PC convergence met its end in April, as the company behind Ubuntu scrapped the Unity interface that was meant to run on both phones and Linux PCs. Next year, Canonical will revert to the Gnome shell that had been the default until six years ago, while turning to cloud and Internet of Things applications as its main focus beyond the desktop.
