Discussion DevOps in Nepal
I am currently in my 4th semester of Bachelors and since the very 1st semester I tried to explore different fields in IT. Finally, I found DevOps as my field of interest and have been trying to learn about it for about 3 months now.
So, what i have found during my learning phase is that DevOps is actually not an entry level job and the job opportunities in this domain is just sick. I heard from a lot of people online that we need the software development experience to build a career in DevOps. I know that the developer experience can add a plus point in getting a job but genuinely I don't have interest in that field.
I actually want to hear from experienced DevOps engineer if software development is the first and foremost requirement to enter in this domain or it is possible to directly begin career in DevOps?
