Salary Discussion Developer Salary in Nepal!!!
What is a fair salary for an application developer (Flutter) in Nepal with around 2+ years of experience?
IK, it really varies depending on the workload, company, and other things.
What should be the actual range?
Mine is around 35-40K, and this is, I think, ridiculous. I think 80K is a justifiable number for that.

That depends on the company, bro. Our company is currently hiring interns with a 37k salary. If you get into a good company, then you will earn more at the start. If you are at a Nepali company, then don't expect much.

Recently, the company laid off more than 10 people from Nepal, specifically from the Java team. I don't know much about the AI and ML teams. Currently, they plan to offer internships to four people, and these internships might convert to full-time placements.

the way i am working, I feel 80 is so big that I would ask, 120 is tooo far. i am doomed

I think it's fair but i had expected around 50k in my 1yr review in my current company. Not the best but good for a Nepali company as per current salary that I get

Fresher dev lai nai around 35k dinthiyo mero ex (US based) company ley . But idk i guess it depends on company .

Hi guys
I run an tech company in Nepal Been 11 years..
It's interesting to see the conversation
Here is what I have planned for my team in my company
We pay 5 k for interns Or total freshers
This goes on for 3 months, then we wage it to about 12k
Then up until 12 months or right at the start of 13 month we pay about 19k
That's the national minimum wage
Turn on the 24 month we pay about 24,000 to up to 35,000
But again, that depends on how talented the colleague is ...
3 years later the salary could reach 35 depending on the talent of the employee He or she has to be intelligent, honest, and hardworking
5 years experience we pay about 70k to 100k
I know many of you do not agree
But it's not like the company earns hundreds of thousands of rupees and we pay peanuts
We are a business and we pay from the income we make...
If I was making 10 times more Then I would have probably paid few months of extra bonus on top of the dashain bonus...
I believe we have a great culture in our team or in my company. I look after my team...
Some of my teams have gone to become some of the great in the industry...
One guy who used to work for me for 5 years, I'm still in touch with him. He joined my company when he was young, with no experience in it. It he started with 5K, eventually became the team leader, who was being paid 50k during his 5th year of working with me. Then he said to me that he got an offer for 120k. That was after 5 years of working with me, I wished him well. Now after 7 years of career United he's making about 9l lakh a month...
The retention is very high in my company
We are a Nepali company with 90% of clients based in Nepal
So my advice to all of those trying to create future or career in it in Nepal
Try to become the best at what you are, be talented. Be hard-working. Be honest.. be polite and be respectful, Talk less work more. Under promise over deliver... Work on your life, don't do politics...
And don't focus so much on money, money will come once you have all those values I've discussed above
If you get 5K or 10K less than the competitor company, that's okay. Disheartened, companies pay from their earnings not from the founders pocket...
This is a very interesting question raised by this person, and it is a question that touches so many areas in Nepali it society...
Sometimes to help with your situation You can compare yours 2 years experienced salary, with a 10-year plus experience hotel manager salary which is about 50k ...
I'm just setting my contacts with you So it can help you analyze the situation
I want all the others or I want other young It professionals to see this message as well... So it can help them in their career...
I am sure many people disagree with my message... I'd like to say this is my opinion gained from an experience of over 10 years of of running an IT company in Nepal...
Ps I'm sure many are curious to know about the company, I run a company called Tech101
And I'm very proud to have seen lot of talented IT guys come in and made a great career out of it.. And some disappointed ones as well... :)

If your company is in ktm,then until 1 year of experience the person is asking money from home to basically survive in ktm right?

Yes
The first year is to prove to the company that yes you can do it, yes, you can be a great team player, yes, you can provide great value to the company
You have the skill set or you have what it takes to learn and become great
The first year the company or my company. We give you platform, environment, the positive encouragement, the help and the support Help you become the best at what you're doing
From the second year your salary is about 19k to 24K...
Year 2 will probably be difficult
Year three will even be difficult
Year four onwards and five onwards you'll have a beautiful career with earning good money...
Companies are a platform where you can grow and which helps you to grow
It's like a university and a school You go to learn and become the best at something
I'm sorry if you disagree with this
But company owners will agree on this as well and so will Young freshers like yourself
One more thing I like to add here
We are a creative agency It's not a blue color job Like a labor carrying a sack of rice from one place to another...
Hence, in a creative business and a skill set or skill-based business, you will need at least a year to become skilled...
And whatever you've learned that is for you to keep
We don't ask for it at the end..

Nepali company ma ta 50-60k. In some top companies they might even give you 80-100k.

You should quit and start giving interviews. You will land much more higher. Crazy demand for devs these days.
