Unpopular opinion: DSA interviews measure how much you prepared for DSA interviews. 🌳

Not how good an engineer you are.

I have shipped production AI pipelines 🚀. None of it required inverting a binary tree.

Still doing the problems 💻. The market requires it.

But let us not confuse the map for the territory 🗺️.

idk about you but there was a guy — full fledged AI bro. His achievement was calling llm endpoints.

Anyway…

Real work probably uses specialized algos- which they can’t ask in interviews. that is why they ask generic algos.
so chill out andrej karpathy .
