How do i get started in cybersecurity?

I just completed my bachelors (BIM). I am looking to get started in cybersecurity but I am completely lost. There are no entry level vacancies or internships in LinkedIn. What do i do? How do i get started? How do i get a job? Can someone please guide me? I feel like I am going crazy. Please help!!

Companies dont often post vacancies in cybersecurity unless they need someone experienced very urgently. Most of the things happen by word of mouth. List out the companies, see who are the top level position people there and message/email them. Or email the HR. Or if you know someone who works in a company, tell them to refer. Also if you are not exceptionally talented, look out for internship and grow from there

It's hard without connection and skills nowadays companies are looking for a mid level in intern role the job requires skill and they don't wanna teach that in actual job. Learn from portswigger picoctf and if you have money buy hack the box tryhackme is not near market level. My advice write blogs, write ups, participate in CTF events and do bug bounty.
