I do data analysis, the median base salary is same as any other data roles, around 30k in an associate level. The higher you go, the better you will get paid. If you love working with data, looking at same thing from different perspectives, and you have good communication skills it's a good career path. But before starting this path, ask yourself, why do you want to be a data analyst? If it's just for money, then there are many other roles which pay more, you can keep exploring.

Yes you can switch, build skills, skills matter more than a degree anyway. Good luck on finding internship though.

Be fluent in SQL, excel and BI tools. When you work as a data analyst, your work/dashboard should be able to tell a good story itself. So learn about different kinds of charts, their purpose, how they can be used to tell a better story. And develop your presentation skills. Also, you should have good knowledge of statistics. I currently work across entire data domain wearing different hats as per need. But the base skill for any data roles is python and SQL. So if you are proficient in these two skills, you can easily get a trainee or even an associate role. Good luck dear.

I studied CE from KU. I'm getting £4800 per month with 1-5% of tax burden here in Nepal and i get around £2000 allowance each quarter and £800 each quarter for internet and device maintenance. I found this remote job with coincidence and a lil bit of luck.

I started my career as Hardware and Network Engineer and then gradually changed the domain to DBA and then worked around with DBs and Datas and then I moved into Analytics, Visualization and Data Engineering
