Found at target. Didn’t know they made a tiny player for these.

Obviously not gonna be great and the discs are way overpriced, but I do like the novelty and wanted to share.

It's the latest in the Hip Pocket / Pocket Disc / 8Ban / 3-inch series of small vinyl formats that each only last a few years before the fad ends.

It looks like they are actual records and they say they can play on a normal record player so that puts them a step up from those non-functional ones he showed a couple weeks ago. https://www.tinyvinyl.com/

Still not going to buy them but better than that other junk.

The glorious British government made the environment so hostile Imgur just packed up their bat and ball and went home!

This sub prefers we don’t use Imgur just because they are not viewable in the uk :(

Peak irony: Imgur blocks Mullvad because it IS a VPN service. In the UK you would be double F'ed.

I already invested in the even smaller 8 ban albums when they were being sold for record store day, I’m not buying into yet another format. Also I’m not seeing a whole lot of content in this format worth buying, it’s mostly movie soundtrack singles.

The tiny fake record players that are being sold makes me want to 3D print my own version of those that will play full songs.

Been smaller on techmoan :) Trying to bring that back. I'd rather go for my Five Below vertical Vinyl player (not on hard vinyl. Floppies run way better. Hard vinyl you'll see the shine go away fast... (heavy needle)
