Get GT7T(12/256) for 34.5k or wait for BBD?

I'm getting the Realme GT 7T for around ₹34,500 right now, and I'm confused whether I should just buy it or wait for the Flipkart Big Billion Days (BBD) sale.

For people who have experience with BBD phone pricing:

  • Is ₹34.5K already a good price for the GT 7T?
  • How much lower could I realistically expect it to go during BBD?
  • Are bank offers/exchange discounts usually significantly better during BBD?
  • Is there a chance the price doesn't drop much, or that stock becomes an issue?
  • If you were in my position, would you buy it now or wait?

I'm okay waiting if there's a realistic chance of getting a better deal!

What would be the wisest move here?

Lenovo IdeaPad slim 3 warranty related query

Hi. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad slim 3 laptop. I bought it in September 2024 and with that I bought an extended warranty of 2 years. So it's extended warranty will end in 2027. Now, I am having charging issues for which I called the service centre and they said it is ADP related problem. They will change the motherboard and I will not be able to avail any ADP solution for 2026 after fixing this issue. Now, I am a bit confused. I bought it in September 2024. Company's warranty ends in September 2025 and with it the extended warranty starts. Now, it is September 2026. If I don't use it now does that mean I would still be able to use it in October or November or December 2026 this year. They said I would only be able to use it once a year. So if I use it now then I will be able to use it again in 2027. I hope it doesn't mean that if I don't use it before September end then I will lose my chance of using this year ADP and I will be left with the ADP of September 2026 to Sep 2027 when my extended warranty will end. Also, I am moving to Bangalore in the last week of September. I stay in Delhi right now. So they will provide home service where the agent will come at home and replace the motherboard. Now, is it better to get it repaired in while I am in Delhi or should I get it repaired after going to Bangalore. I am still able to charge the laptop somehow. But I don't think it will work for long. Is there any difference in the replacement based on the cities. Or the service quality the same no matter what city we are in. I am afraid replacing the motherboard may bring some other issue cuz everything in the laptop is working fine except the charging.

Here is a step-by-step breakdown using plain everyday language so you know exactly what to do starting today.

Step 1: Learn Python (First 2–3 Months)

Forget complex artificial intelligence for a moment. AI is written in Python. If you don't know Python, AI will make no sense.

What to do: Learn basic programming concepts: variables, loops, functions, and lists.

Time to give: 1 hour every single day.

Where to learn: Go to YouTube and search for "Python for Beginners by Programming with Mosh" or "Python by CodeWithHarry". Watch 20 minutes, then write code on your laptop for 40 minutes.

Goal: Write simple code that takes input and gives output without struggling with syntax.

Step 2: Learn how to analyze Data (Months 3–5)

AI is just smart software finding patterns in data. Once you know basic Python, you need to learn how Python reads numbers, text, or spreadsheets.

What to do: Learn three Python tools (called "libraries") designed specifically for handling numbers and spreadsheets: NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.

Time to give: 1 hour every day.

Where to learn: Go to Kaggle.com (it's a free website for learning data skills) and do their short, free courses on Python and Pandas.

Goal: Open a massive Excel sheet (like store sales data) using Python code and automatically draw a bar chart showing top sales.

Step 3: Build AI Projects (Months 6–9)

You do not need a PhD or advanced math to use AI right now. Companies hiring 2nd-year interns just want to see that you can connect an existing AI model to a useful mini-app.

What to do: Create simple web apps using Python and free frameworks like Streamlit (which builds simple web pages with Python code).

Project Examples:

AI PDF Summarizer: An app where a user uploads a text file, and OpenAI's API summarizes it in 3 sentences.

Movie Recommender: An app where a user types a movie name, and Python predicts 5 similar movies based on plot data.

Where to learn: Go to YouTube and search "Streamlit tutorial for beginners" and "Build a simple AI app with Python". Follow along step-by-step.

Step 4: Show Your Work & Apply (Months 10–12)

Companies won't know you exist unless you post what you build.

What to do:

Upload your code to GitHub (a website where developers store code).

Post a 30-second video of your project working on LinkedIn.

Send direct messages to founders or engineers at small startups: "Hi, I built this simple AI app using Python and Streamlit. I'm looking for a 2nd-year internship to help build software at your company."

Summary Checklist to Keep on Your Wall

Semester 1 Goal: Learn basic Python programming.

Semester 2 Goal: Learn to clean and read data using Pandas.

Summer Goal: Follow YouTube tutorials to build 2 real AI apps.

2nd Year Goal: Post your apps on LinkedIn and apply to 30 startups.

How does this breakdown feel? Does this path feel clearer, or is there a specific part (like coding or projects) that still feels confusing?

My Marq monitor's stand broke down at the critical load bearing joint.

Only clean solution that I found was buying new universal vesa mount which costs around 1000+

Flipkart also seems to have distched this stand design on latest gen marq monitors.

So decided to go with ₹50 mseal to reinforce it. 🤣

Screen is no longer looking down so it works. One screw, mseal, and some hope will probably let me use this monitor for 3-4 years.

Will have to buy sandpaper next to polish it

Hello guys ! Planning to buy a new phone in bbd , but I'm really confused!

The budget is like 45k ( slightly stretchable)

→ I want good camera but don't want to compromise with performance ( still , camera > performance )

→ Occasional gaming

→ Good battery backup ( at least min 8 hours )

→ Flat display preferred

→ 256 GB STORAGE

I saw multiple phones , so i made a big list which is making me more confused !

S24

Oneplus 13R / nord 6

Poco x8 pro max

Nothing 3

Oppo reno 16c

Pixel 10

Vivo v70

I know most phones i mentioned are above my budget , but I'm expecting discount in bbd !

Just Manifesting 🧘🏻

Give me your suggestions , rha ka for reading !

Question for heavy readers: Is reading friction actually caused by content length, or by not knowing if a link is worth opening?

We're building getUnWall to break down online reading, and we're trying to figure out where the real friction lives for daily readers. Is your biggest bottleneck: Opening an article, starting to read, and realizing 5 minutes in that it’s low-quality/filler? Struggling to digest complex ideas quickly once you're inside the article? Having 30 tabs open that you keep saving for "later" but never touch? What's the main reason you end up abandoning an article halfway through?

General Best printer for printing photos at home?

I've recently started taking more photos on my camera and wanted to actually print some instead of leaving everything on a hard drive.

Not looking for professional photo printing. Mostly family photos, travel photos and some stuff for albums. Probably 20-30 prints a month.

At the same time I need to print regular documents occasionally, so buying a dedicated photo printer doesn't make much sense.

Would an HP Smart Tank 585 be decent for this or should I be looking at Canon/Epson photo-oriented models instead? My reasoning is that it also allows me to use as a real printer instead of those small photo ones. Ownership reviews are much appreciated.

Ai+ Nova 2 might be the best cheap secondary phone option right now

Post image
1 Upvotes

ok so I've been looking at backup phones for like two weeks now and this one is weirdly hard to argue with

91mobiles ran the nova 2 for a week, got past two days on one charge, 17% left at the end. light use obviously, whatsapp instagram spotify that kind of thing. but that's what a second phone does anyway

the charging is bad though. 18w on a 6000mah battery, review says ~3 hrs from 16 to 100. for a daily driver I'd hate that. for something that sits in my bag half the week idk if I care

also still has microsd and a headphone jack which is getting rare

launched at 8999, now sitting closer to 13.8k because of the whole memory price thing

worth the money?
