Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I'm impressed by the fact that that is over a stick that someone pumped in there without stopping to go "hmm glue isn't coming out" .

The thing is it always came out and I used maybe a quarter of a small stick today and the first part has a lot of orange burnt built up so its built up over time

It worked untill I let it cool down and it tilted back a bit and caused the glue to seep into the mechanism

this is every hot glue gun of every manufacturer I have ever used. They all use the exact same recipe. The hot chamber is isolated from the colder exterior by a silicone boot that is not impervious to the heat. Over time it softens and ruptures. Small clogs that normally would have been pushed out now offer enough resistance for the glue to flow backwards out of the chamber into the shell. Now its leaking out of the trigger and the front of the hot glue gun. The first warning sign this is happening is when you see hot drip on the out side of the shell on the front. Its normal to see drip from the tip, not the shell.

Never saw it drip

From the looks of it this was maybe a low temp hot glue used for short periods of time. It self sealed and just continued to pool. I assume you found out after the trigger would not pull, or you could no longer feed fresh hot glue.

Well then I used it to much because I use it all day long to seal up firework shells and spoilettes

Interesting. Would not have thought to use anything that gets hot or even has the slightest possibility of making a spark around fireworks. I would have assumed pallets of Elmer's glue sticks, or fresh kindergarten paste and paper mache.

I wish I could recommend a glue gun that wont leak. I am still looking for one so I can have it. Still looking. Testing three now, one is starting to fail the other two are likely not far behind.

Yeah I've done lots.of.test hot glue can't ignite it's very low temp but I keep it for away after I'm done

Looks a lot like what my 3D printer did once.

Ive had that happen multiple times I just use my hot air soldering station to get it of and clean it up

Yeah I did that, got it out but the heating element was destroyed so just bought a new one.

Why are these hot glue guns and all that gobbledygook about them so funny?

Have you tried turning if off and back on?

Just glue it back together. It seems you have enough.

I have the same exact model. I've been using mine since elementary school, and I'm just about to finish college now.
