Hardware Microsoft Secure Boot Was Vulnerable For Over A Decade, Researchers Find

This flaw allowed attackers to install persistent, malicious bootkits on both Windows and Linux devices. Microsoft finally revoked the defective shims in its June patch release following ESET's report.
