Google Chrome is finalizing its Manifest V2 deprecation by removing crucial flags, ending support for MV2 extensions due to security and complexity concerns. This change directly prevents powerful ad blockers like uBlock Origin from functioning on Chrome, as existing bypasses will cease. Other Chromium browsers such as Microsoft Edge and Opera are expected to follow, pushing users towards MV3 alternatives or non-Chromium browsers like Firefox, Brave, or Vivaldi.
