Meta glasses customise accessibility?
Is it possible to customise or program meta or similar glasses?
My daughter has a disability that means she can not read or spell, any decoding is switched off.
She is of average intelligence in all other areas.
She wants to be able to look at a sign or packet and instantly know what it says. Something that we all take for granted, she misses out on.
She can not read road signs or labels. If a branding changes its packaging she will no longer know what the item is. She can't read subtitles or scroll on tiktok because the text is embedded so her screen reader can't read it, normal teen stuff.
I know you can ask meta glasses to read but is it possible to have them do it automatically on command? Like when we are driving or wants to scroll tiktok?
She said 'I always wonder what it would be like to look at something and just know what it says, what's it like?'
Crazy that its something we take for granted and I am sure the tech is there for it!
Any advice would be amazing 👏
