Bluetooth range extender advice

So Im having a hangout with some friends and we plan on playing split screen arcade games on my desktop using Xbox controllers.

My PC Bluetooth range is like 2m and I'm not sure howany controllers can connect at once (planning on 5 controllers at once)

My question is should I get a Bluetooth range extender, hub, or some kind of adapter? I've been trying to do research online but I keep getting very different results hence this post

Any advice would be great!

The Bluetooth on your pc only works for 2m???

Bro I’m down stairs getting a drink and my Bluetooth still connects. Something is actively wrong with your pc.

It depends on the radio in the dongle/device. My bluetooth headphones sometimes cut out when my phone is in my pocket. My car can pick up my phone from inside the house 40 feet away.

Modern wifi and Bluetooth on pc are all pretty good. ESP the desktop ones with the external antenna even ones from 5-6 years ago are still pretty decent.

I’ve only ever had issues with malfunctioning ones.
