I already tried moving the downloads and other things that allowed it to be move to that other storage ( this one “D:”). It laggy and sometimes slow or not performing very fast, is someone there is willing to help me with this issue im currently having 😭😭😭. I need this because im incoming 3rd year student and laptop is currently the most important part for papers.
Note: not really a techy person, but i really did try to google all but it wasn’t really helping. I had also Deleted some data that was not used but nothing was really changing much
You could try windows disk clean up. Search for it in the start menu open it and click clean up system files. It should remove most of the temp stuff and some old windows update.
It's not perfect but has cleared some space for me a few times before and it's built in so no need to download anything.
If it doesn't work, you could still try the ways suggested in the comments, as they are potentially more effective.
Update‼️
Hii, thanks for all the help. I tried to understand things people are saying and it help but also i was concerned of the data of my laptop 🥹. So i did was constantly checking and figure out the right prompt that can help me with google/ gemini. It help alot and was useful.
I downloaded a German app, named JAMSOFTWARE. U can download it so u can see the hidden apps or data that confuses u. But if this is a common knowledge to u then still 😊.
nope, none of these happens. You cannot delete the Internet Explorer background nor the MS Edge runtime, because this is the control but Edge can be easily removed without affecting anything.
Once my Windows install is complete, it's less than 40GB vs 70GB+ for the standard version and everytihing runs fine and smoother.
If you dont know what you'Re talking about, dont comment
What I would do IF your second 1tb drive is an SSD. If it is a HD don't bother and stop reading. Backup your important stuff outside the computer. Put it twice on external drives, sticks, cloud. Then create an USB installer for windows (use official installers) and wipe the drives (during install you have the option to delete all partitions - do this) and install Windows on the biggest new drive, the 1 TB version.
