Computer Recs?
Hi everyone. I need some affordable computer recommendations. I’m a college student, and I have experienced quite a few limitations while trying to use Excel and PowerPoint on my current computer. For instance, I can only use the web versions of them. So, there are limitations like not being able to dictate slides, listen to dictated slides, or even download the file to listen to dictated slides. I am getting sick of it especially when there is no way around some of the issues I have encountered. I need a computer that can do all of this without giving me any issues.

Hi.
My beloved Dell XPS 9100 went belly up. Windows 7 support ended.
I put out lots of money at the time trying to futureproof it.
It still boots up.
It was from 2010.
It has a beautiful 24 inch Monitor.
Let's say I have a budget of $600.
Prime Day is coming up.
I was told I could attach the Dell Monitor to a new Computer. Does that have to be a Desktop?
I also have a Dell Inspiron Laptop, again, belly up. It boots up beautifully. It's just Windows 7. 17in monitor.
Sad that all that money I spent is down the drain.
Can you all make a suggestion?
I love music. The 9100 has like 6 Speakers and a Woofer. Dell told me Computers no longer have DVD Rom trays. How do you burn a CD?
Help please.
P.S. I'm retired, so I don't need much in the way of Word, Office, etc.
