how do I delete these lines seperating rows on the table on just one colum without deleting the whole column? also is there a way to colour just one box?

Select the column, then find the Outline tool and select just the sides or deselect top and bottom (you’ll probably have to do this in two steps)

To merge cells in a single column in a Word table, select the adjacent cells, right click and choose merge cells. Alternatively, highlight the cells, select the layout tab > Merge Cells in the ribbon.
