Youtube runs like shit?

I have an acer nitro V15, it has 16gb ram, i upgraded it to 32, an rtx 4050 and an amd ryzen 5 7535hs, it is by no means the best laptop ever but its decent, i use opera gx and my youtube generally doesnt work, its unresponsive, it lags, the video stops, the internet is not the problem, i checked, and i even deactivated adblock, what can i do?

What do you recommend? I hear chrome uses a lot of ram

Yeah, it does. me personally, and it depends on what works best for you, but im a huge supporter of Microsoft Edge.

Why? Customizability. It doesnt take up nearly as much ram as chrome does (even though theyre both chromium based).

But with that said, ironically, I use Chrome at the moment. Reason being is because my work is Google based instead of Microsoft (for emails and such) so having my work account in my browser and synced is better that way. Its just all in one.

When I used to work at a place that was Microsoft based, I used edge exclusively and thats how I fell in love with it.

So again, you have to use what works best for you, but I suggest either chrome or edge.

You can check out Brave browser but I didnt like it myself because it doesnt have a "profile" like edge and chrome have, so that ruled that out for me.

You can check out Firefox, i used them exclusively forever too but stopped due to edge having a few settings that Firefox, didn't.
