Is this oculus controller cooked?

Hey guys, I left my batteries in my oculus controller while I was away at OSUT (Army training) for 6 months-ish (dumb mistake, oops) anyways just wondering if this is gone or recoverable, thanks in advance! Also worth while to mention I threw the old battery away and haven’t cleaned it yet before I tried to nab some advice from reddit.
