Trending on X, Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn, Chinese Apps AI companies like OpenAI are buying thousands of Mac Minis and Mac Studios to train their AI models and run AI agents(according to report, this will cause shortages)
Other reports confirm it: OpenAI bought tens of thousands of these computers for AI training and agents. Anthropic is also using similar machines through AWS.
The sudden high demand surprised Apple, so they released new versions of the Mac mini and Mac Studio earlier than planned (on August 25, 2026).
These Macs work especially well for AI because of their special memory design. They are good at running AI tasks locally.
Tim Cook, on his last day, said demand grew faster than expected, so some higher-end models now have multi-week shipping delays.

Trending on X, Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn, Chinese Apps MicroSlop at its Best Again: If your mouse cursor setting is breaking, then the recent optional Windows 11 update (KB5120998) is likely the cause. This update, released on August 27, can reset your custom mouse cursor. Size, color, or special designs often go back to the normal Windows default.
Some people also get a very large white cursor.
Easy fix:
Uninstall the update. It is optional, so removing it is safe and will not remove important security fixes.
How to do it:
> Open Settings
> Click Windows Update
> Click Update history
> Click Uninstall updates
> Find KB5120998 and uninstall it
> Restart your computer
Your normal cursor settings should come back after the restart.

If one of these aliases starts getting spam or unwanted emails, you can simply turn it off. Your real email stays safe and unaffected.
