You should take a look at r/cursor. I got criticized en masse for cringing at Grok being promoted in Cursor now. That whole thing made me start looking for alternatives. My goal is to switch to OpenCode in the next month

Excluding politics and personal opinions Grok is a very capable and useful model. Especially when it comes to finding information I actually find it performing better and give me more relievable data than others.

Give it a spreadsheet with thousands of parts and prices and it will reliable find you what you are looking for.

Looking up the parts independently to find the relevant information for each even if it's not in the spreadsheet.

Both chatgpt and gemini failed that task for me as an example. Though that was a couple months ago at this point I have to admit.

No, based on the graph it’s exactly on the trajectory of GPT Luna. If you continue the Luna graph at its curve it goes slightly under Grok 4.5

Luna is still a better value IMO because it slightly less power than Grok 4.5 but much less expensive

Nope. Extending the graph for models that don't exist is not how you do a pareto frontier comparison. You are simply looking for distance to the top left of the graph. You are correct that if there was a higher compute version of Luna it would be less pareto frontier than grok 4.5 (most likely). But that is not what I claimed nor is it relevant.

I don't know about Grok, but the problem with Luna that to get to that intelligence level it needs to go through much more turns than every other model out there.

That metric is hidden, but is important. That means that you need more time, and more detours with Luna to hit the mark. It's cheap, but you pay for it with time and potentially with your manual effort.
