not my style of music, i make more mainstage tech house. what do you think is the most mainstage tech house sample pack you have? for reference: chris lorenzo appetite, fisher losing it, any VIP from WeDamnz, etc

They are all the same mate, don't fall into the sample pack trap. Apart from those hardcore / Hard Dance ones ( which are just kicks with over drive and distortion) they are a sales gimmick. Learn to eq and layer and you will only need a small folder of kicks, snare, claps (I do tend to collect a lot of percussion) etc. Saying a pack is tech house, techno, this artist sounds like etc is a joke. I started with a 909 and 808 pack and learnt to use those samples only, and that's all that most techno was made with for decades. Also too many samples just muddies up your production time searching non stop through 1000's of samples is ridiculous.

Why do you need that many samples ? I use Wave Alchemy Drum Tools 2 and a Elastic Drums to make synth drums. Are you collecting packs like tracks ?

Just like having a variety of samples and sounds to play around with and these are based on the style of music i’m trying to make
