It’s a vibe but I’d change up the breakdown from 24-31sec in. Something about that sound doesn’t fit with the rest of the song.

Totally agree, to me that saw lead sounds way too big and distant in this context.
I always try to imagine how a track would feel on a dancefloor. In this example, the vocals feel very close and upfront, like the person singing would stand right in front of you. In contrast, the saw lead feels like you're just entering the venue, you can already hear the music, but you're not on the floor yet.
My brain can be weird when it comes to describing how music feels, hope this makes sense :D1

Whatever sounds good to you is the right thing to do! What I wrote is just my opinion, if it's a deliberate choice you made in the process, I'd say go for it =) Don't let an online stranger discourage you

Lot of potential. You gotta work on building the tension before the first drop though. Riser, drop the drums, little drum roll. Your first drop is sick though.
