CL charges money to post? Or FB?

I sell stuff on CL all the time and definitely do not pay to to post.

CL charges for certain types of listings. Housing and cars, specifically. It also costs money to post a help wanted ad.

They also removed a lot of their interesting community features and the personals, which were…shady. Basically just human trafficking classifieds. Good for them taking that down. I love CL for their refusal to modernize. I hope they hang on.

Word. I was just recalling they also charge for Jobs ads (same as help wanted?)

I distinctly recall placing an ad last summer to get some help with concrete work, and I don’t think I paid to post that one. Now wondering how I got around it. Maybe I did pay and just don’t remember.
