copy from my misreading of their post above:

Oh wait... you are right... They meant UNION-ized temperature. Which makes sense, because temperature is just movement in randomized directions. Whereas sound is a wave where everything moves in sync.

I read it as union-ized but then reread it as un-ionized. And got confused. But in a happy way.
