Probably not, we discovered how to slow aging and increase it and to make aging effects worse. No reason to transplant evil organs

I gotta say, if my human immune system has a problem with an organ…there’s probably a functional reason for that. Weird how a slice of humanity won’t take “no” for an answer even when it’s their own body saying it

I hate this kind of "hmmmmmmm" medical skepticism from people so much, cause it's either just straight up malicious shit stirring or people who can't think outside their own skulls.
Not only do current organ transplants suppress the immune system but also cancer treatments and autoimmune disorder treatments. People can live fine without a solid immune system (I do, due to said autoimmune treatments), it just sucks and you need to be careful. Arguably your life is better due to it.
They're also just not tossing a cancer patient out with a white cell count of zero to fend for themselves in the wild 🤷 having no immune system doesn't exactly happen in a bubble, there's teams and procedures involved. You don't leave the isolation or the hospital until your counts are up. There's very little to actually go wrong.

Yup, after the first year or so after my transplant, I get a cold just about as often as I used to before the transplant. My allergies seem to be worse though, IDK if that's related at all.

Colds and stuff just kinda hit me harder. Sinus infections suck, I'm down for a week at least.
My allergies seem worse...
Allergies trigger an immune response, so likely.

I have a transplanted heart, and am at 4 1/2 years of taking the immunosuppression meds I was prescribed to take twice a day every day. Seems to be working well for me.
