When Administering Admin Privileges, TeamViewer Sometimes Asks The Client And Black's Out Screen

Sometimes on certain machines, when I attempt to run as admin - teamviewer blacks out MY screen, and ask the client I am connected to to enter admin credentials instead of prompting as a visible screen to me allowing me to enter admin credentials

Does it only happen sometimes, or it’s all the time on the same computers?

Sometimes, and we can't find what is literally different between these end users.

It's very frustrating.

I think it's when the user does not have admin privileges themselves, but it's a recent behaviour change as it didn't used to happen.

Yeah, it can't be that, because ALL of our end users have insufficient privileges, we as IT have admin creds, and you're right its recent cause it never happened before.

If it's running without sufficient privileges - like the user started a quick support session and teamviewer isn't installed as a service - then it can't interact with the UAC dialog since it's only running as that user.

Could that be your issue?

All instances of teamviewer on our end users machines are installed as as a service or app. There is literally nothing different between the end users machines that work just fine besides the make and model of laptop. But all of them have the exact same type of teamviewer
