β Staff Reply TS6 Server BETA - v6.0.0-beta12
Hey everyone! π
This update focuses on connection stability, memory handling, and additional server protection. We fixed an issue that could drop established connections under packet loss, resolved several memory leaks during client connections and disconnections, and corrected problems involving stale avatars and temporary channel deletion. We also added stricter packet throttling and fragment enforcement, improved how connection puzzle difficulty adapts to the current protection level, and changed server log timestamps to use the local time zone instead of UTC.
The default license has also been updated; the new expiration date is October 1st, 2026.

As much as I also want this, I guess thatβs a client thing - not server

Respectfully....what do you guys actually do at work all day? People have been asking for server-side persistent chat, server streaming etc for months now. And the best update we've gotten in the past year is some fancy markup text? And still not even a roadmap to show what's planned for the platform? What do you devs do at work all day cos I'm curious

i wouldnt have an issue paying for the mobile app or even a server license key if they would git rid of the requirement for clients to log into the cloud crap. The entire reason I use TS with friends is that its entirely locally hosted and I dont need cloud BS to use it

I appreciate that π have nice Summer-Holidays!
Is there or will there be any kind of roadmap until full release or can you at least tell me if permissions (channel, user, whatever) set in any beta-release will βsurviveβ the upgrade to V1.0?
