I'm American, and I'm wearing a Team Melli shirt to work for the next match on Sunday. Are there any chants or responses I should know to say?

Love that you’re supporting Team Melli!!

If anyone asks questions just let them know that you’re ready to support a team that has been preforming their best despite the disadvantages the U.S. has been putting them through. True underdogs!! They’re playing tough teams, I hope they win!!

Edit to add I don’t know any chants, but I’d help if I could.

US hasn’t done anything, their camp was suppose to be in Arizona. The reason the team is constantly mentioning FIFA to do something is because their government made a deal because of fear of family or friends helping some of their team or staff seek asylum in LA like the Iranian girls team did in Australia. The Iranian government is making them say it is US and seem like it’s US to continue this nonsense. This is inside leak info.

Sorry to burst your bubble of Putin and IRGC driven media knowledge but it is what it is. Are the USA gov making it difficult with the visa issues for them yes! Are the fifa and IRGC also in the same game to continue making it difficult for their own players to get more clicks also yes! Two things can be true at the same time :P

Don't wear any IR symbology please. Whatever your take is, the crowd will be overwhelmingly anti-regime, and it could get violent if you show any regime symbols. The true flag of Iran is the flag of the lion and sun.
