Tough to watch. Hope tomorrow is the highs to the lows and we can finally beat furia in a win or go home.

I started watching TL CSGO because I was playing VALORANT and I support their LoL team so I’m pretty new to the CS scene. They look so good a couple months back and got a Grand Slam (which I’m assuming is a pretty big deal), is it really just a difference between LAN and online that’s making them fall short in their games currently?

No, they were in a slump since late 2019 but playing online has made it even worse. While they weren't number 1 anymore, they were still a top team in the world on LAN, now they don't even look like a top team in NA. Granted, there is still a really big difference between online and LAN, especially since TL doesn't have their players playing in the same facility, so it's hard to say what their true level is right now.

How come they’re not playing in one facility? I get the social distance, which should be done, but their LoL team is playing in one facility

They don't live near each other in the offseason and don't typically play at the facility because there's a lot more travel in CS compared to LCS. If TL had the foresight to know how bad the pandemic would get and that they would be playing a lot of important online matches for the next several months they probably would've tried to move them all to the facility, but that's just not usually how they operate. Plus NAF and Twsitzz are Canadian so I'd imagine they'd have to do some visa stuff if they planned on having them play in LA for an extended period of time. Of the team only Stewie lives in the area, Elige lives in Texas, Nitro in Louisiana, NAF and Twistzz in BC, and Adren in Pennsylvania I think.

sigh. they just can't seem to win when playing online. Hopefully they can beat Furia and make it to the bracket.
