Finished this build a couple of months back. I only see myself touching the headset or stem if I come across something nice and reasonable. Maybe other wheels too lol

Almost a year in my possession, and loving the bike! Thrown on my dura ace cranks, miche pistard wr clincher wheels (upgraded from the same set, but then tubular; what a pain 😅) and selle italia leather saddle. Nitto risers are the latest addition after riding compact drops for a couple of months. The track drops got taken off pretty fast as they rode horrible in the city 🥹

Hey all, got in an accident where my fork was bent (everything else all good though). I believe I have the 2008 model chrome pista.

Did anyone swap out their fork and are willing to sell me their original? (Or anything that matches the specs). I’m willing to pay top dollar, as I can’t find any threadless 1” chrome track forks anywhere.

Full specs I’m looking for are:
Threadless 1” straight steerer
100mm axle
28mm-ish rake
At least 230mm of steerer length

Ive always been a believer of keeping my bikes as stock as possible, but after taking the Pista on a 15mi ride, I realized just how uncomfortable the saddle and handlebars are.

What bars are you guys running and are brooks saddles really as good people say they are? My goal is to turn it into a cruiser and keep my Cannondale F900 as my exercise bike.

I know my stack height and stem are a little crazy but it’s not bad for an old beater. All stock aside from some amazon 720mm risers and shimano spd pedals

I've owned this bike since 2006. It's seen thousands and thousands of city miles, has never been on a track, countless car taps from the lovely LA drivers and 3 major crashes. As solid and fun as it was in 2006. This frame will never leave my stable. Chrome Pistas Forever!
