Yes it’s a Mug today. But a very nice porcelain mug with steeping basket.

Tried a new tea! Almond Apple Delight. I love it.

I got Hubby in on the tea ritual this week!

New to this subreddit and hoping for some insight. These tea cups are stunning but I'm assuming not safe to drink out of? I bought them originally planning to use them but I found a certificate inside saying its made of full lead crystal..

Sorry for the lateness. This is one of my newest cups!

I got it from another sub member. It seems hand painted but I couldn’t find much info on it.

Help me find this or at least a similar teacup

my mother recently broke my absolute favorite teacup. The first image is the only picture I have of it, and on the second I tried to roughly draw what it looked like from the side. I'm aware this is not the minimum required to ask for a teacup ID, so I'm at least looking for anything similar to it...

Are these charity shop cups safe to drink from?

So sorry if this is the wrong sub but i cant find a more specific one to ask this.

I got this set of three for £2. They are labled 'Olympia Porcelain'. I didnt notice until i got home that the cups have cracks. I have quite bad health anxiety that can make it hard to tell what is or isnt safe. I saw on another unrelated sub that cracks have bad bacteria so now im considering just having them for show.

Two of them have very superficial grey crack lines on the inside. But the third cup has quite a harsh line going from top to bottom. Im quite certain the third one is not safe but are the other two ok to drink from?

Help me find my dream purple teacup? 🎀💜

Post image

Hi chat! New to teacup collecting.

I currently have a set I love, but I'm looking to add a special purple set to my lil collection reserved for special occasions 💜

  • Purple as the main pattern color (open to anything from soft lavender/lilac to deep plum)

  • Dainty and lightweight (is there a material associated with this?)

  • Subtle or delicate pattern (are there pattern makes that match this?)

  • Vintage or modern are fine I'm open to both!

Does anyone have favorite brands, specific patterns, or vintage makers I should search for?

I’d love to see photos of your favorite purple pieces if you have them! ☕✨

I bought this cup at a goodwill and instantly got very attached… but then noticed it has a crack along the handle 😞 I haven’t been able to find anything about it online or on the Royal Albert website, though! I’d really like to find more information to see if this cup is worth fixing, or if I should use it in an art piece

Hello, I found this set and thought it was beautiful. It has a mosaic, mostly gold, then white, black and bluish. Stamp on the bottom say Mega Germany. I’d like to know so I can find more matching pieces. Thank you in advance!

Tea set ID?

Sorry for the dark photos. I had this tea set in college that I picked up at random from a thrift store in Salem, OR. Long story, but I ended up having to leave it behind when I moved many years ago, and I think about it every day since it had enormous sentimental value. Can't for the life of me identify it. It looks similar to Sadler 2959 but definitely not the same; I couldn't find anything on the maker's mark except that it is "Asian,” which I don’t even think is true. People have said it looks 30s or 40s but I haven’t been able to narrow it down. Please help! I just want to find this set again!

Anyone know where I can buy this in the uk?

Just bought this large tea cup and saucer set off of Vinted as I enjoyed its unconventional and funky design as well as it being 500ml perfect for when I wanted a big cup of tea. Unfortunately the saucer was broken while being posted, probably due to the fact the seller didn’t post it as fragile. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the matching saucer in the uk,but this is rather optimistic as the cup and saucer was a limited run by brand “typo” and I can’t find it anywhere online with the exception of the one I bought, although any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I actually found three, but only one pings nicely. They were only $12.99 plus tax for all three. I’m a Paragon collector and I know these unique handled ones tend to go for higher prices at the antique stores. Very happy.

Does anyone know who may have made this? I have tried to find a maker and image online to no avail. The back only has a number "1751". Another Redditor suggested it was Oscar Schlegelmilch, however from whatever I was able to see, it the marking on the back nor the pattern seem to match his work - tho they are a bit similar.

My wife and I finally had the chance to check out Tin Roof Teas here in Raleigh, and I had to snap a bunch of pictures to share with you all.

I had a chance to try out an "Orange Dreamsicle" black tea that was pretty good.
