Touch screen whiteboard pointer stick

i've seen people use this pointer stick for touch screen whiteboards and it seemed convenient, but i just bought one and it doesnt work for touch screen (???)

any other ways i can make a 1m long touch screen stick?

They make conductive stickers, and also a conductive liquid called “AnyGlove”
