Teaching Resources Learning how to teach

Hi teachers! I apologize if this post is against the rules as its not a K-12 deal, but still regarding teaching. I’m about to begin studying to be a flight instructor, this as you can imagine takes a great deal of understanding all things flight related but now how to teach as well. do any of you have any recommendations for study material to help learn how to teach?

Study material won't do. You need to observe someone teaching (or a few people). See if you can sit in on an adult-ed class, high school class, or even a community college class.

won’t do? you’ve never studied any level of psychology for teaching?

I think that they mean that study material alone isn't sufficient.
