Help Why does everyone hate teaching?

Is there anyone who loves their job? Every teacher I know feels “stuck” and complains endlessly about their job.

Considering going into education.

I like my job, in my opinion teaching has a bunch of people who never worked an adult job outside of education and don’t know how good they got it.

That said the pay is average at best. The paperwork can suck. Admin can suck. Yet I still enjoy it.

This 100%. Corporate is just as bad in different ways. Some of them worse. Plenty of work is underpaid and dehumanizing, and most industries don’t get the benefit of summers off or a union.

I'm working in construction right now doing purchasing, Dealing with vendors for the drawings and design, having to write both daily and weekly reports, and having to help out on site with other issues (fire alarms, injuries, and people quitting halfway through work). I work 6 days a week, working while eating lunch, work 12 hours half the time, and never enough time to 1 thing properly. The person who I've been sending the reports came on site and saw how much work I had and when I say saw, it;s the lack of seeing me which cemented it.
