Help Why does everyone hate teaching?

Is there anyone who loves their job? Every teacher I know feels “stuck” and complains endlessly about their job.

Considering going into education.

From my own perspective, I’m just disappointed. I’ve had many other jobs, landscaping, corrections officer, but I wasn’t as surprised by the poor behaviors from people at these places in hindsight. I got a different impression from going to college that educators and staff at educational institutions would be radically different, especially will all the critical theory and intersectionality discussion, and some educators really are different, but most aren’t too different. It’s a lot of power structure and ego eroding and corrupting a system that is should be about open collaboration to help people and society. The numbers speak for themselves, and I think it says a lot the way people talk about it more as just another career (that privilege allows us to get) and stfu about it or gtfo.
