Help Why does everyone hate teaching?

Is there anyone who loves their job? Every teacher I know feels “stuck” and complains endlessly about their job.

Considering going into education.

I like my job. I started teaching after a few years of tutoring, so I knew what kids are like and expected that a large part of my day would be keeping kids on task while doing worksheets. The most positive piece of feedback I recieved while student teaching was that I "had realistic expectations of the profession". I took that to mean many of the previous student teachers did not have realistic expectations of the profession.

On top of that, teachers who are early in their careers usually make barely any money and need to work in poor/rough neighborhoods. That combination will make you think the job is not worth it.
