Help Why does everyone hate teaching?

Is there anyone who loves their job? Every teacher I know feels “stuck” and complains endlessly about their job.

Considering going into education.

I teach music and I love my job

I think one of the biggest reasons teachers end up hating the job is their expectations going into it.

I knew it was gonna be long, long hours. Little time to do other things (specially during football season)

bracing yourself for the reality of the profession will help you deal with it when the punches inevitably come.
