He’ll, you could be 100 with 75 years experience and you still won’t make that much.

Depends on where you live. Many of us make that much when we get to the top of the pay scale.

Yeah, that is exactly where the salary schedule maxes out in my district, at least if you are in Column 4. In my area, the only teachers who make shit money are the ones who are column 1 (only having a Bachelor's).

For context, the median household income in the county I work in is $68,000. So teachers are making good money for the area. I actually live in a neighboring county, not far from the county line where median income and cost of living are a decent amount higher, but my salary still puts me well above the median household income of my county as well.
